- He became the creative director for the French fur label Revillon, which led him to move his home and atelier to Paris in 2003.
- He launched his menswear line in 2002, further expanding his distinct dark, minimalist style.
- Owens is often called “The Lord of Darkness” for his signature gothic aesthetic and use of black.
- He also designs furniture, creating pieces with his characteristic cut, volume, and use of rare materials.
- In 2004, he founded Owenscorp in France, ensuring the label remained completely independently owned.
