Fashion House Material was established in 1949 and until this day remains as one of the oldest apparel manufacturers and fashion retailers in Georgia. Recently the brand gave birth to a premium line Materiel.

The brand is unique in its approach to the fashion business. Collections here are presented by the talented Georgian designers who all work under Materiel. The line aids the evolution of Georgian fashion industry by giving opportunities to young and emerging designers to expand their possibilities and talent.

Currently Materiel’s designer team is led by Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili and Lado Bokuchava.
