His career gained significant momentum after Vogue Paris featured a photo of Kate Moss in his design, leading to a major runway show and a position as creative director for the French fur house Revillon. Owens also has a successful furniture line and has received numerous awards, including the CFDA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
