Description
Warren Neidich is a multidisciplinary artist based between New York City and Berlin, working across video, sound, performance, and glass. His conceptual practice investigates the intersections of art, neuroscience, and cultural politics. Neidich has received several prestigious awards, including the Getty Research Institute Award and Maison Suger Residency in 2023, as well as Germany’s Hauptstadtkulturfonds and Stiftung Kunstfonds Neustart Kultur prizes in 2020. His work has been widely exhibited at major institutions such as the Whitney Museum, LACMA, Walker Art Center, PS1 MoMA, MIT List Center, ZKM Karlsruhe, and ICA London. With a career spanning decades, his work has been discussed in over 150 publications, including Artforum, The New York Times, Art in America, and The New Yorker. Neidich continues to challenge the boundaries of perception and cognition through a practice that is as intellectually rigorous as it is materially diverse.
