Dr. Alison Snow, PhD, LCSW-R, OSW-C has over 15 years of experience working in the healthcare industry.  She specializes in helping people to cope with the impact of a chronic illness, specifically cancer.  She is the Director of Mount Sinai Downtown’s Cancer Supportive Services team, where she oversees support and wellness programming. She also maintains an academic appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology and Environmental Medicine and Public Health, in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is a Fellow at the New York Academy of Medicine and has published her work in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks and has given numerous presentations to students, community and professional audiences.
