A self taught ” Kid at heart ” Andy would spend hours upon hours painting, refining his style, to later on, earning mural painting experience alongside Montreal artist collective EN MASSE and Fresh Paint gallery respectively.

Artist Statement :
” I hope to make the old new again, re vamp old school cartoon aesthetics with modern day urban art sensibilities, creating my own visual language one vibrant hue at a time… at first glance my MNSTR TOONZ appear to be quite inviting, but upon closer inspection you can see cracks, open wounds, funny facial expressions. While they appear to be cute and creepy, there is more to them; perhaps a sense of playfulness mixed with mischief, and heartache. This idea of the facade behind the smiles, the hopeful but downtrodden, going about their everyday routine, trying to make the best of life. ”
