Alejandra España – Shadow voices II

estimated value $900

Through poetic narratives that oscillate between the visible and the invisible, I explore the origins and different notions of learning we use to make sense of the world. The collective links, appropriation and redefinition of images, intertextuality and symbolic quotes construct the discursive sense of my work. In 2006, I embarked on this quest using drawing, ceramics, collage, artist’s books, painting and installation.
